Gerhard Helfrich studied psychology at the University of Mannheim, and after completion of his degree, was employed as Head of Human Resources at Merz & Co. in Frankfurt from 1990 to 1994. From 1994 to 2009, he was a Partner in the Hay Group management consultancy, where he contributed to the company's international growth, and in 2003 took on responsibility for Germany, Austria and Switzerland in his role as Senior Vice President and member of the Management Board.
His duties included consulting services for corporate firms and SMEs with regard to the implementation of strategic HR and organizational development projects at the level of the Executive Board and Management Board, as well as the monitoring and implementation of large-scale projects to establish successful management structures. His emphasis was on consulting projects related to the design and realization of international leadership development programs, as well as the development and implementation of management potential analyses and coaching programs for top managers.
Prior to becoming a Partner at LLC, he was engaged in building his own consulting firm with a special focus on executive assessments.
Mr. Helfrich is currently an external Consultant at LLC, with consulting emphases in organizational analysis and development, executive development, management reviews and coaching.
