Siegfried Lamprecht studied education at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich as part of his officer training and then served as an officer in the Bundeswehr.

After 12 years, he switched to industry. From 1990 to 1995, he was entrusted with various HR management roles at MAN Nutzfahrzeuge, before being responsible for executive management development at the global automotive supplier ZF Friedrichshafen AG. He was then responsible for the worldwide human resources management of Gerresheimer Glas AG in Düsseldorf.

In 2000, Mr Lamprecht moved into management consultancy, initially with Korn Ferry, the American personnel consultancy, and then as managing director and partner of the Amrop Hever global executive search group in Munich.

In 2005, he was appointed to the executive board of the internationally active Swiss group OC Oerlikon AG, with responsibility for global HR management. Following the successful restructuring of the group, Siegfried Lamprecht founded Lamprecht Leadership Consultants AG in Wollerau am Zürichsee.
