Werner Widmer studied business administration with a focus on finance and accounting at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences.

He began his professional career in 1990 at Ernst & Young in Zurich as a senior auditor for international industrial, service and insurance companies. At the same time, he pursued his training as a Swiss certified public accountant, which he successfully completed in 1994.

At Ernst & Young in Stamford, Connecticut, USA, Mr Widmer was a senior audit manager responsible for US companies and Swiss subsidiaries based in New York and Connecticut.

After returning to Switzerland, he founded treuhand ag pfäffikon, where he still serves as managing director and as a member of the board of directors. This medium-sized trust company provides comprehensive services in the areas of company formation and consulting, bookkeeping and accounting, along with tax advice and auditing for national and international companies. Mr Widmer is a personal member of the Treuhand Kammer (Swiss Chamber of Auditors and Tax Experts) and the professional organisation of Treuhand Suisse.

Werner Widmer has been a member of the board of directors and CFO of the LLC Group since the foundation of Lamprecht Leadership Consultants AG. In this role, he is responsible for the group's finances, accounting and tax affairs.
